The Alliance, formally the National Funding Council  creates synergy between the federations and national agencies and provides $8 million in funding to these agencies: Jewish Telegraphic Agency (JTA), Jewish Community Centers Association (JCCA), Hillel, Hebrew Immigrants Aid Society (HIAS), Association of Jewish Family and Children’s Agencies (AJFCA), Jewish Educational Service of North America (JESNA), NCSJ: Advocates on Behalf of Jews in Russia, Ukraine, the Baltic States & Eurasia, Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA) and The Foundation for Jewish Culture. This group of agencies best advances the Alliance’s funding priorities: 1) Building Capacity and Servicing Local Agencies.  2) Engaging the Next Generations.  3) Formal and Informal Jewish Education.  4) Israel 5) Strengthening Jewish Identity.
