We are excited to kick off the 2018-2019 school year with NCJW's Hug Pack project. This evening we will be packing backpacks for high schoolers who are taken into foster care, often suddenly with no chance to pack. The hug packs we provide get many more items than the kindergartners' hug packs do. We will have scientific calculators, reading books from Scholastic, and more. As always, there will be good wine/cheese, chocolates and fruit.  

We also welcome anyone who would like to help out from 4:30 pm on -- we will be gathering supplies from our storage unit and setting up before we start packing at 6:30 pm. 

Robert Wiltse, the social worker who receives these packs, will be there to pack with us and take them to his office that nite to save us the trip the following morning.
