A:Court reservations may be available??
Feel free to join our Pickleball WhatsApp group to find more players and coordinate games. The WhatsApp group is an organic group-chat not moderated or facilitated by the Alpert JCC. Please demonstrate proper etiquette and respect to all participants.
Our court is sized and approved by USA Pickleball Association regulations.
All open-play hours are open to all skill levels. The spirit of Open Play is that everyone gets to play with different players in a recreational and fun setting. The objective is to have people learn from playing with others at a variety of levels. (insert clinic info!)
Place your paddle in the paddle saddle, stacking left to right.
If there are eight (8) or more people waiting, play 4 on and 4 off.
If 7 or fewer people are waiting, play 2 on and 2 off. Winners stay and split to play with a new partner.
If you have played two (2) consecutive games and players are waiting, step off the court so others can play, and place your paddle back in the paddle saddle if you would like to continue playing.
The internet is full of pickleball fashion inspiration, but we encourage players to wear whatever feels comfortable! Shirts and closed-toe shoes are required.
