Seasonal & Part Time Lifeguards, Swim Instructors, and Coaches

Premier Aquatics lifeguards earn StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Certifications and undergo in-house training led by their executive staff. Beyond the state-required certifications, they mandate in-service training during every scheduled shift. This ensures our team is always prepared to respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, including water-related incidents, sudden illnesses, and basic first aid situations.

IMPORTANT: Double Coverage/Swim Diaper Policy

All children under four (4) years of age, AND any child who has been potty trained for less than one (1) full year, MUST be double covered in the pool at all times: the first layer must be a disposable swim diaper OR a reusable swim diaper (similar to one from iPlay), and the second layer must be a Happy Nappy snug-fitting reusable swim cover. A bathing suit may be worn over the Happy Nappy cover if you choose. If the double coverage policy is ignored and a pool closure occurs, you will be fined $500 for the incurred costs as a result of a pool closure.

Children who are potty-trained are still at risk of causing a pool closure because the water may be relaxing on kids’ tummies, exercise may stimulate digestion, and they may not realize they need to go. We take all necessary precautions to prevent pool closures, and for the health and safety of our students, children up to 4 years old must be double-covered. The first layer must be either a swim diaper (either disposable or reusable), and the second layer must be a Happy Nappy reusable cover by the brand Splash About. If the child is already potty trained and you are concerned about a regression due to wearing a swim diaper, they may wear underwear instead under the Happy Nappy. A Happy Nappy swim cover may be purchased at the AJCC or through an alternative source.
