After exceeding the amount of complimentary guests, members may purchase additional guest passes for $15/adult and $10/child (free for children under 2).
As a courtesy to other members, we ask that members bring no more than four guests per visit. Members looking to bring more than four guests to the J may connect with our Rentals department to explore options for their event.

If I’m a member at another JCC, can I use your center?
Each JCC is operated independently, and many allow for membership reciprocity.
If you a going out of town and want to temporarily use another JCC facility, please contact the Membership Services department of the JCC in the area you will be visiting for more details.
If you are a member of another JCC and visiting Long Beach, we will honor your membership for up to two weeks. To redeem this, please contact someone from your JCC’s Membership department, and ask them to send verification of your membership to Michelle Sears at [email protected] within 1 – 2 weeks of your visit.
You may authorize a checking account withdrawal or credit/debit card* charge of equal installments monthly or annually commencing on your join date or in the month of your renewal. *A 3% processing fee is added to all credit/debit card transactions.

The J is a pluralistic Jewish Community Center that serves the needs of the entire community. We are open to people of all faiths and backgrounds. As a community center, we offer a newly renovated fitness facility, excellent youth programs, cultural arts events for all ages, adult Jewish learning programs, senior adult activities and much more!
Yes, members get access to all group fitness classes. Members can sign up for group classes online or in the Alpert JCC App.
The fitness center is open to all AJCC members 13 years of age and older. Members 13 – 17 years of age must take mandatory fitness orientation with a fitness instructor. An appointment can be made at the courtesy desk. A parent or legal guardian must accompany the minor during their fitness orientation.
Yes! We have lockers available for day-use. Want your own locker for regular use? Club J lets you reserve a private locker in the adults-only locker room with complimentary water and towel service. Club J starts at $14.50. Contact membership at [email protected]
