Jewish Family & Children's Service (JFCS) of Long Beach & West Orange County invites you to join Dr. David Hart, Ph.D., LPCC (licensed professional clinical counselor) as he leads a discussion about what to expect as your brain ages over time, how to know when your memory challenges are an indication of something more than normal aging, what you can do to protect your memory and other cognitive functions, and what steps to take to find support after a dementia diagnosis.
Participants in this workshop will leave the presentation understanding differences between the brain as one ages, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, as well as understanding behaviors one might see as dementia progresses. This workshop is free and open to the community!
