We invite you to join us for a community memorial honoring Master Sergeant Ran Gvili, whose remains were recently returned to Israel, and to mark a profound and long-awaited moment: the return of all Israeli hostages held by Hamas over the past twelve years.
Light refreshments will be provided. RSVP is required.
Master Sergeant Gvili fell defending Israeli civilians on October 7, 2023, and his return brings closure to a chapter marked by grief, uncertainty, and collective waiting. While this moment does not erase the loss or the trauma endured by families and communities, it carries deep significance for the Jewish people and for all who believe in the dignity of bringing every person home.
This gathering will be a space for remembrance, reflection, and solidarity — to honor the fallen, to acknowledge the suffering endured, and to affirm our shared commitment to life, responsibility, and community in the face of violence and hatred. We will also have boxes for those who wish to discard yellow hostage pins, dog tags, or signs/posters.
