This challenging program from NCJW will present three speakers in the high-priority areas of Homelessness, Women’s Reproductive Rights, and Human Trafficking. The panel will each give a 15-minute presentation, followed by a Q&A and small group discussions between each speaker and whoever wants to learn more and how they can help.
Speakers include:
Julie Lie, Chair of the City of Long Beach Homeless Advisory Services Committee
Krista Hollinger, CEO of Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties
Mariah Marple-Sewe, founder of Survivor Mentality Foundation and a mentor, advocate, and case worker for sex trafficking victims
Light snacks will be served, and we’ll elect next year’s officers. While there is no charge to attend, contributions to defray the costs of programming are appreciated.
