We invite our community to celebrate Passover at the J with family, friends, matzo ball soup, and more. This mini seder will be led by our own Kevin Giser and feature traditional songs, texts, activities for kids, and a delicious Kosher-style Passover meal. If you’ve never participated in a Passover Seder, come see how we celebrate with a short seder. If you do your seder at home, make ours special with your presence!

What is Passover?
Passover commemorates the story of the Exodus in which the Israelites celebrate their liberation from slavery in Egypt and their freedom as a nation under the leadership of Moses.
We celebrate by having a seder (festive meal), reading the Haggadah, retelling the story of Exodus, singing the four questions, and drinking wine. We also refrain from eating foods with leavening (ex. breads).
