Introducing the Culinary Connections Initiative

Cooking Up the Future of Jewish Life in Long Beach

Food is at the heart of Jewish heritage, connecting people and fostering community. Our initiative turns communal kitchens into vibrant spaces for all ages and backgrounds to gather, learn, and celebrate food and culture. This inclusive environment accommodates kosher needs, emphasizing our commitment to community.

Our Fundraising Goal is $360,000

To meet the challenge, we are calling on the support of our community to lead us with naming sponsorships, community sponsorships, and corporate partnerships. With your generous commitment, we can be cooking soon. Our goals include:

Expand the Early Childhood Student Kitchen

Providing a next-generation learning kitchen where our youngest members explore Jewish culinary traditions hands-on, shaping their Jewish identity.

Design the Alpert JCC Main Kitchen for all

Guided by our mission, we're investing in inclusion and functionality to host larger-scale Kosher programs, community events, and culturally immersive experiences that foster connection and understanding.

Develop Culinary Programs for All Generations

Designing a series of programs that bring together, teens, families and grandparent, not just at holidays but season to season, year after year.

Every ticket purchased and every recipe shared helps build kitchens where generations connect.
