We are thrilled to welcome Jen Lewis back to Jewish Long Beach.

Jen served as the Teen Director at the Long Beach JCC for many years and led numerous teen trips to Israel in the 1990s, including one attended by our current Director of Jewish Life and Culture, Dana Schneider-Chanzit.

We are delighted to welcome Jen back to our community to present this important and powerful art installation. Jen will also host a special artist talk and gallery reception on September 29.

The Stars of David Project is a large-scale memorial installation in which six million hand-drawn Stars of David are used to honor the Jewish lives lost in the Holocaust, transforming a symbol once used to mark persecution into a collective act of remembrance.
