“Wisenheimers: A Celebration of Jewish Comedians” was influenced by Norm’s childhood days in the Kibitz Room at Canter’s Deli in Los Angeles. Norm and his family would visit his grandparents every Sunday, have dinner at Canter’s, and watch the Ed Sullivan Show in the Kibitz Room, where Ed Sullivan would showcase the great Jewish comedians of that era.

Norm has been drawing and painting since kindergarten, and that’s a long time ago. This is Norm’s first gallery exhibit and he is thrilled to be sharing it with our Jewish community. Norm and his family (Marla Weisenfeld, Rebecca Weiss, Ruby, and Sam Schulman) have been long-time members of the AJCC.
