Eligible participants (ages 13-30) include those who are going on a trip to Israel sponsored by an approved non-profit organization including volunteer, study abroad, and Birthright.

"Receiving this scholarship has made a tremendous difference for our family. It allowed our daughter to attend Jewish camp, an experience that strengthens her Jewish identity, builds lifelong friendships, and helps her grow in independence and confidence. Without this support, it would have been much more difficult for us to provide her with this opportunity. For our family, it has not only eased financial stress but also given us great joy to see her benefit from such a meaningful and enriching experience."

Scholarships FAQs

Are scholarships need-based?

The scholarship criteria is based on eligibility, with priority given to first-time applicants. The application does not ask for any financial documents.

How many times can the same person apply?

Applicants may submit only one application per year. The same person may apply as many years as they would like, as long as there are still funds available. Priority will be given to first-time applicants.

How are funds distributed?

Funds will be dispersed directly to the organization you are applying for, such as a qualifying summer camp or educational organization. Proof of enrollment, such as a confirmation email, is required before funds can be dispersed. We are unable to write checks directly to applicants.

How will I know how much I've been awarded?

Applicants can expect to be notified of the award amount via email on or after March 16, 2026.

When is the soonest we can hear back?

Applicants can expect to hear back no sooner than March 16, 2026. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate early notifications.
